We all have fears, right?

Fear of losing money. Fear of looking stupid. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of uncertainty.

The list goes on and on…

But one of the biggest fears I hear from people who are thinking of starting a business, is the fear of failure.

Does that resonate with you?

Last year my answer would have been YES.

And it’s ok if this is your answer, because having a fear isn’t a problem. It’s how you react to it that’s important.

And do you know the way that most people deal with this fear? They don’t even get started with the thing that causes the fear, just in case they fail and are faced with shame or public humiliation.

I don’t know about you, but that seems kind of crazy to me.

So many people let this fear get in the way.

Fear is the difference between living the life of your dreams and living an average life in the status quo.

Which life would you rather live?

The thing to remember is that EVERYBODY has fears.

But what separates the successful entrepreneurs from people still living a life far below what they deserve, is that they feel the fear and do it anyway.

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” Nelson Mandela

As humans, almost all of out fears are created ourselves.

We are the ones that can control this, so train your brain to think about fear differently.

Don’t try to get rid of the fear just learn how to react to it.

The easiest way to get over your fear of failure is to be more fearful of not taking action.

Be more fearful of settling for a life that is far below what you deserve or desire.

Be fearful of the risks you don’t take.

Be fearful that one day you make look back with regrets of not grabbing that opportunity.

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Take action.

And work through your fear to create the life that you deserve, full of freedom and meaning.
